JeanThomas.jpgI moved to Lake Forest Park 21 years ago, drawn by its natural beauty and sense of community.

I’m running for City Council to help ensure our city’s financial sustainability and protect our natural resources. Our City Council needs to address critical issues including the impact of the Brightwater wastewater tunnel on our water. It is crucial that we have a City Council that will listen to its citizens and advocate for their concerns.

As your next City Council Member, my proven ability to bring different factions to consensus and my extensive administrative and financial experience will produce much-needed results on issues involving our environment and our local economy.

On the Issues

I am committed to tackling critical issues such as the economy, taxes, and development. However, many residents do not realize the seriousness of the potential impact of the Brightwater wastewater tunnel on our aquifer. It is crucial that we protect the naturally pure, chemical-free water it provides for many of our residents and to protect all of our natural resources. We must also address additional issues, including the need for transparency in our city governance and the increasing difficulty of “aging in place.”
